Clinical systems
Most “EHR reviews” are either Epic worship or startup theater. We care about chart velocity, order reliability, and whether the ambulatory footprint can survive a multi-specialty week without heroic workarounds.
Epic and Oracle Health dominate inpatient mindshare; the interesting decisions for mid-market and digital-native groups sit in ambulatory successors, specialty EHRs, and the integration layer that keeps ancillary systems from lying about the patient.
When we score clinical systems we overweight outcomes and implementation: a beautiful UI that takes 18 months to stabilize is a 6, not an 8.
